Working Groups

There are currently three working groups as follows;

  • Youths: These are girls and boys between the ages of 15 and 24
  • Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) from 0 to 15
  • Support Group for people living with HIV/AIDS. Most of them are widowed due to HIV/AIDS. 

These working groups have their own committee which oversees the operations of the group. The working groups comprise 7 or more members' maximum of 10. These report to the Project/Field Coordinator.

Our Target Beneficiaries

The target number of beneficiaries is as follows:

  • Youths: both boys and girls - 2,500 
  • People Living with HIV/AIDs (PLWHA) - 250
  • Orphans and other Vulnerable Children (OVCs) - 1,500
  • Widows and other vulnerable women - 2,500

Our Project Location

The project is situated in Linda compound about 12 Km from Lusaka's town center to the south in Kafue district. We felt led by the Lord to assist this community. MWAMA Foundation conducts its activities and hopes to expand services to other communities as the Lord leads us and funds are made available.

MWAMA Foundation's field office is in the same compound to ensure coordination, implementation and monitoring of activities.
